Dr. Yaw Perbi is a physician, pastor and president of International Student Ministries Canada. He co-founded The HuD Group in 2003. As a medical doctor he has practiced medicine in both his home country, Ghana, and as a military captain with the United Nations Operation in Cote d’Ivoire. His work with young people through The HuD Group was recognized by the Government of Ghana through a national award conferred upon him in 2006 by the Vice-President of the country.

 

For four years he served as the English pastor of the Montreal Chinese Alliance Grace Church. Dr. Perbi’s 15 books include Amazon bestseller Thinking Outside the Window. He’s served in 45 countries on five continents and has been the toast of media groups worldwide including CNN, the National Press Club (Washington DC), VOA, CBC and BBC. Dr. Yaw Perbi is a John Maxwell-certified speaker/trainer/coach, Fellow of the Africa Leadership Initiative, a member of the Aspen Global Leadership Network, a Lausanne Movement Catalyst and serves on various strategic boards. Hirwa G. Israel is the CEO of The HuD Group Uganda and COO of YAW PERBI Executive Coaching. He is a Certified Professional Life & Leadership Coach/Consultant, an Accredited DISC Coach and a Certified Behavioural Consultant. Israel is passionate about training, coaching and mentoring leaders, and equipping them with leadership skills, tips and tools they need to build flourishing organizations.


Using the Million Leader Mandate Volume by John Maxwell’s EQUIP and the HuD Group he has trained leaders across Africa. Armed with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration (Finance and Banking), he co-founded Goldlines Sacco (a collective investment scheme in East Africa) and served as the first board chairperson for 4 years and first CEO for the next 6 years.


He values acquiring knowledge and promotes reading culture in Africa and in the world. He dreams of a time when every African in every city and village will have access to physical and virtual libraries. His first book, Make the Most of Your Identity, tackles topics of purpose, identity, values and personal finance.


Israel is married to Damalie and they’re raising two adorable daughters. In his free time, he loves to cook, garden and watch documentaries and true-life movies.

Sahr Isaac Sam was a former child soldier during the 11years Sierra Leone civil war. Where he was captured and being trained by the rebels. After the war in the early 2000, he became saved through the saving grace of Jesu Christ.

 

He graduated in 2013 from the University of Sierra Leone with a Bachelor of Sciences with Honours in Applied Accounting, and started his professional career at KPMG Sierra Leone; the firm where he started the ACCA qualification journey and is now a qualified member of the global chartered accountancy body.  He is currently an audit senior at Baker Tilly Sierra Leone.

 

As a young man of many passions, Isaac also currently serves as a ministry operational consultant for OneHope Inc. (God’s word every child) for the Coastal Africa Region with support to Sahel Africa and Central Africa. He is also serving as the National Treasurer for Scripture Union Sierra Leone. Sahr was a delegate at the African Business Leaders Forum Accra and the African Leadership Initiative in 2011.

 

Over the years, Sahr has been a life coach and motivational speaker at churches, universities, and youth gatherings in so many parts of the country and internationally. He is the CEO for the Human Development Group Sierra Leone, the platform he uses to teach Leadership and share his past experience with prison inmates on a weekly routine.

 

He was recently appointed as the senior pastor for the Jesus Covenant Ministries International Church SL. A congregation he has been fellowshipping for the past ten years.

 

Sahr is happily married to Christiana M. Sam, blessed with two children; Sia Ruth Zoe Sam and Sahr Isaac Sam Jr.

Claudia Sofia  was a child of  a colombian missionary family for more than 15 years. She learned and taught the Bible as a sunday school teacher and mentored youth and women as a church leader.  Sofia  is the happy mother of Santiago and Felipe. She represented Colombia as a World Vision youth ambassador and also served as a leader in training for the same program. She has worked with World Vision Colombia, World Vision Canada, The US Department of State and The Colombian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.  Sofia has a bachelor in International Business, a bachelor in business administration and a masters in international cooperation and foreign relations. Her passion for women and children has encouraged her to volunteer around the world with different organizations. Currently, she is the CEO of The HuD Group Colombia and she works as a proud housewife and business consultant.

Ramesh represents the marginalized and minority Christian community from Nepal. He is practitioner of Early Years Education (ECE), Teacher Trainer, Bible Instructor and lead his own Business.

 

Ramesh owned a University Degree in 2003 and started teaching in school. Working as Teacher Trainer (2006-2012), he expertise himself in Pre-school Education. In 2013 he founded his own business company, Abhyas Nepal , with a vision to work in training, children textbooks and teaching resources. Ramesh has developed series of children books and  curriculum for schools. He is striving to run a “business with Godly morals” in a hostile business culture.

 

As a response to a Holy calling Ramesh Groupis serving in the local congregation as a teacher in children-teens ministry. His mission is to raise Godly leaders for the next generation. He is certified Bible instructor from SEAN international and ITEEN (Institute for Theological Education by Extension in Nepal) college, Regional Champion for 1for50 – Reach, Disciple and Empower global moment, Younger Leaders Generation (YLGen) | Lausanne Movement member and National CEO, The HuD Group Nepal. Ramesh lives in Kathmandu, Nepal with his wife Latika and two kids Nigaha and Reuel.

Karis is a Counseling Psychologist and works as the Assistant Emotional & Career Guidance Counsellor at SOS Hermann Gmeiner College, in Tema – Ghana. Previously she worked for eight (8) years as the HR & Administrative Manager at Aviation Alliance ltd. GSA for Delta Air Lines in Ghana. She worked with a five (5) member senior management team on strategy development and execution planning for companies in Ghana, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Cote D’Ivoire.

 

Karis has a passion for broadcasting and has been in the Radio industry for 8 years and also engaged in Christian television broadcasting for two years. Karis has been with the HuD Group Ghana for 7 years; she was the Head, Executive HuDdles of the HuD Group from September 2013 to August 2015 and starting in August 2019 she became the Ag. CEO. In April 2020 she became a member of YLGen of the Lausanne Movement. Karis holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Agnes Scott College in Decatur, Georgia, U.S.A and an MPhil in Guidance & Counseling Psychology from Methodist University College, Ghana. She is the wife of Dr. Della Komla Adzosii, a Pediatric Cardiologist in training and they have two lovely daughters; Carnelian and Citrine.

Karis’ primary mission in life is to use the gift of encouragement to give people a vision of themselves as noble sons and daughters capable of changing and being an agent of change in their world.

Emmanuel Agyemang is a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) working with small scale businesses within the Calgary Area in Alberta Canada. Prior to his current position he made a positive impact in Shell Canada and Canadian Natural Resource Limited in his role as a Business Analyst for eight (8) years. 

 

He currently serves in the Church of Pentecost Canada, Calgary District  PIWC doubling effectively as the Presiding Elder and District Secretary. In his current role, he is an active and resourceful member of a seven (7)  Executive Committee Team that oversees the operations and administration of four (4) branches of the church in the Calgary area.  

 

Emmanuel’s desire to see holistic growth and  leadership development of emerging leaders,  inspired him to join the HuD Group, Canada in May 2014 becoming the Country’s Chief Executive Officer in the same year.

 

Emmanuel obtained his Master of Management Science degree from University of Waterloo.  He resides in Calgary, Canada with his wife Dr. Ekua Amponsah Agyemang, a Physician and a Public Health Resident of University of Alberta. They are blessed with three (3) amazing children namely Oheneba, EmmyJoyce and Onyameye.

Dr. William Okyere-Frempong is a Ghanaian medical doctor, management leader, motivational coach, and minister of Christ. He is the founding Medical Superintendent of the LEKMA Polyclinica public healthcare facility in Nunguaa periurban suburb of the capital city. Here he gracefully combines his clinical practice with his administrative oversight responsibilities with competence and sterling character.

 

Yet above and beyond being a leading doctor, he is also the EPSA Regional CEO of The HuD Groupan international leadership and mentoring organization. As lead coach, he frequently offers training to emerging leaders and established professionals in schools, social groups, churches, and companies.

All of these have not gone unnoticed culminating in some awards and recognitions. Notable among them are; a 2014 recipient of Nobles International Award from the West Africa Nobles Forum; being ranked as 19th most influential young Ghanaian under 40 years by Avance Media in 2016; being judged the Spirited Advocate Clinician at HELEH Africa Awards in 2018; and being profiled among top 100 speakers in Ghana by The Speakers Bureau Africa in 2019.

 

William is a 2020 Hubert Humphrey Fellow in Public Health Policy & Management. He holds an MBChB in Medicine & Surgery and is pursuing a masters in organizational leadership & governance.  He demonstrates biblical reflection, visionary perception and refreshing common sense. He is married to graceful Ruby and they make their home in Accra with their two children.

Angèle was born on 21st July 1987 in Abobo, Abidjan (Côte d’Ivoire). She speaks 9 languages: French, English, German, Yoruba, Nagot, Fon, Mina, Ashanti (Twi) and Dendi. She is married to Vénus Nangnon AKOKPONHOUE with three children. She holds a master’s degree in French English and German translation and interpretation. She is a translator and interpreter with more than 10-year experience by profession but also a consultant and youth activist.

 

She is currently the National President of the YWCA (Young Women’s Christian Association) of BENIN and was the Youngest National President the YWCA has known in its more than 100 years of existence when she became president. She attained several YWCA workshops and seminars in Belgium, Benin, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Germany, Ivory Coast, United Arab Emirates, Ethiopia, Ghana, Equatorial Guinea, Hong Kong, Japan, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Togo, Uganda. 

 

Since 2009, she is also Francophone coordinator of the African Youth and Governance Convergence which is held every year during the first week of August : www.aygconference.org

Angèle is currently working as freelance entrepreneur and manager of Access Entrepreneurship Sarl, a Limited Liability Company co-founded with her husband and offering language services, entrepreneurship training and others.

George Murichu (Rev.) is passionate about enjoying God and bringing Him optimal glory with all his life. To this end, he wears various hats as priest of his family, present father, pastor and preacher of the gospel, psychologist, praise and worship leader, presenter with on-air and online experience in Hope Media. He currently serves as a minister of the gospel with Christ Is the Answer Ministries (CITAM) based in Nairobi, Kenya; a ministry with footprints in various parts of God’s green earth.   

  

George is sold out to proclaim the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and burdened to see the transformation of the emerging generation through the advance of God’s kingdom. As a pastor he is committed to the vocation of people keeping and leverages his undergraduate training in psychology to empower people towards holistic living. He holds a Bachelor of Psychology degree (University of Nairobi) and a Master of Divinity in Biblical Studies (Africa International University). As HuD Group CEO he endeavours to raise leaders who inspire…totally!  

  

George is married to the love of his life, Patricia Murichu, a healthcare consultant hailing from the pearl of Africa (Uganda) with much global exposure. Together they raise their daughter Eden Riri in the haven of their home in Nairobi, Kenya and also partner towards the work of discipleship of young people. 

Stephen currently lives in Adelaide, Australia along with his wife Rebecca and three children (Isaiah, Leah and Amarie). His work involves raising leaders from the next generation; on the University Campus as Global Catalyst with International Student Ministries Canada; in the local church as Young Adults Pastor at Marion Church of Christ and finally at home with his three children.

 

His background is in the Forestry sector but during his university years God called him to leave his dream of working in the family business to pursue full time vocational ministry. Initially this led him to pursuing cross-cultural missionary work, but his eyes were opened when he realized that on any given university campus the nations can be found!
